How to Save the Battery of a Digital Camera?

Sometimes our digital cameras turn us down when its battery is empty. To avoid this scenario here are the tips on saving the battery of your digital camera.

1. Set the power saving mode to "on" or turn off your camera when you don't need it.
2. During cold seasons, keep your camera or batteries with you or inside your jacket. Coldness drains the battery very quick.
3. Keep away your digital camera to any heat sources. Place it on a  cool and dry place like a medicine :)
4. Avoid always looking the saved pictures if it's not necessary.
5. Use AC adapter during charging.

Factors that affect the battery life of your digital camera

LCD is screen is the biggest factor that drains the battery of your camera. Always using it's viewfinder will consume more power, so use it only when necessary.




Obviously flash is also a factor. Turn off the flash if you have enough light on the environment to take pictures. Save the flash of your camera for dark places or when your taking pictures at night.

We may not think that zooming is also a factor the consume the battery life. It is advisable to get near to the object (if possible) than to use the camera zoom. Also zooming can lessen the quality of your picture.
