Guide in Using Underwater Camera
Most of the time we capture special moments in our lives. We take photos during birthday, graduation, vacation etc. I know some of you have thought about having an underwater camera to capture the moments during swimming or scuba diving.
Below are the different tips on how to take picture underwater using your underwater digital camera.
Submerge the camera for several seconds and check for leaks. If you're using a camera case, put silica gel inside the camera case to keep the moisture from forming inside the camera case.
As you go deep in the water, light becomes lesser and everything will become darker. Its because light can't reach the deeper part of the water. To solve this problem make sure that you use the white balance to come up with natural colors. Also, things will become larger when you are capturing images underwater so make sure you check your waterproof camera's viewfinder. Get the best picture angle and size.
There are small moving particles under the water which becomes visible when you capture images using a built-in-flash of an underwater camera. To avoid this phenomenon, it is advisable to use an external flash
Wash the camera case and check for salts when you use it under the sea. Salt may crystallize that causes leaks to the camera case.
