4 Facts about Internet Explorer 6 – Your Windows XP default browser
Are you still using Windows XP? If yes then probably you are using Internet Explorer 6. Windows has released their new Operating Systems such as Windows Vista and Windows 7 (greatest Operating System that I’ve used) but still many of the internet users are using Windows XP which uses a default browser – Internet Explorer 6. If you are not into web design and web development you should read this article.
1. Internet Explorer 6 don’t have a new tab function.
2. Internet Explorer 6 can not display images in PNG format. PNG format images are the transparent images. By default, you IE 6 will not display trasparent images unless the designer/developer will add some JavaScript or some special code to make it transparent.
3. Internet Explorer 6 doesn’t render the website similar to other modern browsers. Internet Explorer 6 is the greatest problem when it comes to cross browsers compatibility. There are lot of issues in this browser. It may look great and clean when you check a website in Mozilla, Safari, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 8 but it looks wasted in Internet Explorer 6.
4. Internet Explorer 6 is too old to understand new codes in CSS (Cacading Style Sheets – used in designing a website).
