Can I upgrade my PLDT Ultera to PLDT Fibr?

If you're wondering if you can upgrade your PLDT Ultera Plan to the latest and better PLDT Home Fibr the answer is YES!

I'm still under the 3 year contract when I decided to switch to Fibr when it became available in my area.



How to Upgrade PLDT Ultera to Fibr?

First you need to go to the latest PLDT sales office. Bring a letter that explains why you want to upgrade. Make sure to mention that you're expecting to waive all pre termination fee since you're still in contract.






In my experience it took about a month before my request was granted. My lastest PLDT ultera bill still have 250 pesos balance for the router modem installment. Just ignore it they should pull out if you're upgrading.

      try to go to the nearest PLDT sales office. If DSL is available in your area, I believe you can upgrade your plan even you're still under contract.

    i was told knina s service center nila to apply for an fibr first then settle the outstanding bal ng ultera plan then request to disconnect with the lettee stating my reason. so hindi ka na nacharge ng pretermination fee?

      Hindi na. Pero after few months may letter akong nareceive na bayaran ko daw yung termination fee. Pero don't worry kasi system generated lang yung letter. May tumawag sakin na ipupull out na daw yung unit. Pero wala padin. In short don't worry. Apply ka na ng fibr.

    Good day sirs. Tumawag ako sa customer service at sabi kailangan daw isettle yung termination fee. Nkakainis kasi sobrang hindi calibrated mga tao nila. Anong letter po yang sinasabi nyo pra mkapagupgrade sa fibr from ultera? Ty

    1 year and 7 month's ko na binabayaran yung bills ko, pano pag wala available ba fibr dito sa Pililla Rizal ndi ako pwede mag apply? Atsaka panibagong bayad yun sa contract na 3 year's gaya sa ultera?...may bago clang inapgrade 50 GB after 3 day's na consume ko na daw yun lahat ng yun.. Tapos wait ako ng 3 weeks para mabalik yung 50 GB, tapos magbabayad ako ng 1,300 .di ba unfair yun?.... Gusto ko ipa terminate may babayaran daw ako sa natitirang 3 year's contract...haisssst nakakainis talaga... Help naman ano ba dapat kong gawin????...

    Hello po kakakabit lang ng pldt ultera sa amin kanina and bigla kong nalaman na wired internet connection pala ang required sa home based job ko, pwede ko na ba ipaupgrade agad agad yun to pldt fibr? Magbabayad pa ba ako ng pre termination fee? Thanks.

      wala akong binayaran pero nagamit ko din muna ultera ko ng ilang months bago ako nagupgrade.

    hello po :) smartbro canopy user ako noon and very much satisfied..kaso nung nag-upgrade sila ng ULTERA, ay! gapang talaga connection..simpleng messenger ang tagal mag-open :( matagl na nming gusto magpa-kabit ng PLDT, ung kapitbahay nmin may DSL..pero ayaw kmi kabitan kc wala raw kmi landline O.o eh pano nga kami magiging subscriber kung di nila kakabitan? labo..may linya nmn samin kc nga may kapitbahay kaming meron..eh mukang mas promising tong PLDT FIBR kaya sana pede na samin (antipolo area).. eh ano po pag sinabing walang PLDT Fibr, hindi talaga pede makabitan?
