If you would ask swimmers, coaches, and swimming enthusiasts, they will mostly advice you to use any of the three swimming goggles below.

1. Speedo Vanquisher Swim Goggle Review

Speedo is famous in swimming products. This company is well-known for selling high-quality goggles and swimwear. One of the best-selling goggles is the Speedo Vanquisher Swim Goggle. It's highly recommended by swimmers and coaches.

  • clear vision even if you get a smoky colors
  • best for competitive swimming

This is advisable for average swimmers and beginners.

2. Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Plus Mirrored Goggle Review

Another best-selling product of Speedo is the Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Plus Mirrored Goggle. It is an upgrade of Vanquisher Swim Goggle. The only difference is it's a little expensive, and it uses a mirrored lens that makes it perfect for intense sunlight.

Pros
  • has better "side view" or peripheral vision
  • sun glare is completely gone when looking up during backstroke
  • perfect for outdoor with strong sun light
  • gives perfect protection against sunlight
Cons
  • Vision is not good when using at night or low light
  • more expensive than ordinary Vanquisher Swim Goggle
This fits for people that often swim on direct sunlight and for those who love backstroke.

3. Aqua Sphere Kaiman Swim Goggle Review

Aqua Sphere Kaiman Swim Goggle is famous because of its performance. Like the two goggles above, they are also recommended by swimming experts. The only problem with this is it's more expensive than the two goggles above.

Pros
  • does not leak
  • field of vision is wider than other goggles
  • superior strap compared to other googles
  • fit people with high nose
  • anti-fog is the best
  • easy to adjust
  • comfortable
Cons
  • hard to thread the strap through the retainer
  • more expensive
  • minor scratches on the lenses after only a few use
This is best for competitive swimmers and for those who want to have high-performance goggles. The price is worthy.

Best Swimming Goggles for me

If I ask to choose, which is I'm going to buy. I'll buy the number 3 goggles. Because its superior anti-fog feature is important if you love long laps swimming. The fog is really annoying, and it can affect your focus on your strokes. The field of vision is also important when swimming specially if you're a competitive swimmer because it allows you to see other swimmers behind or in front to you.

Comments

  1. I swim in an outdoor, heated pool, but the air temperature can be anywhere from ~45/50 to ~75. I never touch the inside of my goggles, always rinse them before and after in fresh, nonchlorinated water, kept them in a case, follow all the good practices that are supposed to limit/delay fogging problems. I have been as good to these goggles as possible, and they still fog up. My cheaper, much less comfortable TYRs that I leave in my gym bag, which are scratched and sometimes leak a little, never fog, and so I have been using those more and more often. This is super frustrating, because they are so amazingly comfortable.
